Chavenage is very suitable for functions, weddings, dinners and lunches. We can accommodate up to 300 people, with seating for up to 100 people for meals and conferences in the Ball Room.

Rooms

There are 5 rooms available: (click to enlarge)
1. The Hall, a medieval room with open fire;
2. Oak Room, 1590 paneled sitting room;
3. Ante Room, between the Hall and Ball Room;
4. Ball Room, with seating for 100 guests; and
5. Chomondley's Room, an en suite room for the wedding couples changing facilities.

Cars

Car parking is available for 80 cars on hard surface and unlimited parking in the paddock. Cars will be parked by Chavenage and may remain overnight.

Bars

Chavenage does not charge a corkage fee, clients are requested to arrange for the preparation and serving of all drinks. Chavenage does not hold a drinks license and so does not allow for pay bars to be set up. Please note that the house is normally open to the public on the following day.

Prices

Weddings prices start at a basic House Facility Fee of £1,500 including a booking fee of £50 on confirmation. There is an additional fee of £200 per hour after 9pm. All prices subject to VAT.

Catering

Chavenage catering is run by Joanna Gouriet, and operates within Chavenage House for small groups. For weddings and larger events, clients must select caterers from our approved list. A list of recommended wedding suppliers is available, please get in touch if you would like to know more..
